Sldc CMMI Manager (Jobs in NEW YORK, NY)   Requirement id 9317 Job title Manager Job location in New York, NY Skills required ADM Method, Sldc, CMMI, Open Date 30-Mar-2012 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 6 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Manager: ADM Method, Sldc, CMMI, [Note: Dead line: 4-04-2012] [Note : Start Date : 03-15-2012 End Date : 09-15-2012] Description: Essential Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Ability to design, develop and implement application development and maintenance processes changes At least 5 years of experience working on application development, maintenance and production support projects using multiple technology platforms At least 5 additional years of consulting experience of which at least 3 years must be on software development lifecycle (SDLC) process improvement Participation in at least one full lifecycle Lean ADM project Deep knowledge of the Lean ADM Method Must have deep knowledge of software development and maintenance lifecycles (SDLCs), ITIL and software engineering methods Must have deep knowledge of process improvement framework such as CMMI Good knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma tools and methods, Business Process Management, Change Management and Business Process Re-engineering Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to rapidly master client specific ADM process, Lean ADM Method, models and tools and provide application leadership and mentoring in this context Strong facilitation and presentation skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Skills and experience in end-to-end process analysis, design and improvement to rapidly deliver major business outcomes Ability to produce high quality written and verbal communication within a knowledge management framework Strong PC skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio, Blueworks, Minitab Desirable Masters in MIS Personal Attributes Can work independently to deliver result Team player and collaborative working style to implement change Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines and make project adjustments accordingly Can effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment Key Job Functions/Responsibilities (Deliverables / Services) The role is to work with the dedicated Operations Development and Lean project team to develop improved processes and implement changes to drive efficiency and productivity improvements Provide overall direction over application of the Lean ADM method within the workstream Provide real-time method coaching to Lean ADM Project Lead and Lean ADM Process Analyst Perform work in all phases and activities of the Lean ADM Method Develop Lean ADM Training Plan during Pre Work Phase and deliver Lean ADM Training according to plan Obtain quality assurance approval of Lean ADM work products from Lean ADM Method Coach Lead workshops with ADM leads and conduct value stream mapping (VSM) Interview frontline staff to understand value-add vs. non-value-add work for different skill sets Identify opportunities for improvement and bottlenecks through waste analysis and consistency analysis Analyze incoming work/demand and workload allocation methods Lead target operating state design Codify process changes Implement changes and help achieve target state   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
