Job Description Administrator: Solaris, UNIX Server Administration, SUN Cluster Administration, Linux Server Administration LDAP

Client is seeking to fill a short term (approx. 3 month) contractor assignment to provide IT Operations Support Services in the area of UNIX/LINUX Systems Specialist. This position will be responsible for the operations and support of UNC Charlotte?s Solaris UNIX Server, Solaris/SUN Cluster environment and will contribute to LINUX system administration.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

Required:
Minimum of seven(7) years of Solaris UNIX server administration.

Preferred:
- Minimum of five (5)years of SUN Cluster administration in an Oracle Database environment
- Minimum of five (5) years of Linux server administration
- Certified - Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5/6
- Knowledge of certificate management, LDAP and proxy services
- VMWare experience
- Banner experience

[Note ; Candidates must be available for onsite interviews as soon as 1-2 days after posting closes and must be available to start as early as 4/2/2012
