The technical domain of the Ab Initio Data Integration Designer includes logical and physical data modeling, DI best practices, tools and technologies, security in the DI environment, Data Integration design, development, performance tuning, and administration. Responsibilities: - Validate that the business requirements are complete, consistent, concise, and achievable. - Responsible for collaborating with the business analyst and data analyst to resolve gaps between the business requirements and DI design specifications and ensuring these decisions are documented. - Translates business requirements into a technical solution that can be implemented. - Produces high-level DI design specifications meeting 100 percent of business requirements within the scope of the established architecture. - Produces detailed DI design specifications consistent with the high-level DI design specifications and Roadmap. - Proactive and diligent in identifying and communicating design and scope issues and recommending potential solutions. - Analyzes and defines processes, tasks, data flows, and dependencies. - Conducts DI design reviews. - Participates in data model and database design reviews. - Facilitates approval or approves DI code and unit test. - Guides DI developers implementing the solution. - Helps builds consensus around the DI solution with the client and developers. - Oversees QA functions for the DI application, including ensuring that system and integration test plans are developed and executed. - Creates other technical deliverable artifacts needed for project implementation. - Growth and knowledge transfer to the client. - Strong written and verbal communications skills. Skills: - Ab Initio Graphical Development Environment (GDE) for ETL graph design - Ab Initio Data Quality Environment (DQE) (data profiling a plus) - UNIX - SQL Experience: - Data Migration and data integration using Ab Initio (6+ years) - A Plus Aviation experience/background - A Plus Maintenance Aviation experience/background   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
