Description :

The DevOps Engineer / Task Leader will help design and develop a DevOps Platform-as-a-service.
Responsible for participating in architecture design discussions, tool selection and task breakdown
Develop Vagrant scripts to create CentOS VMs on AWS and VirtualBox
Provisioning VMs through puppets scripts and modules to install
Atlassian suite (JIRA, HipChat, confluence, Bit Bucket, Fisheye, Crucible, and Crowd),
Nexus,
Jenkins
SonarQube
Sensu & ELK Stack
MuleSoft
Using this integrated DevOps platform, built a CI pipeline for two template projects that include unit testing and acceptance testing
o Java / Tomcat
o Mobile platform
Environment creation for the projects for development workstation, testing and production deployment
Develop capability to support multiple user and projects with management of at least tow template projects: Java & Mobile

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Functions
Responsible for the designing and developing DevOps Platform-as-a-serviced summarized above.
Work with the UI team to provide integration
Evaluate and improve platform architecture design to achieve best-in-class quality of core capabilities in performance, reliability, safety, and privacy.

Education:
Preferred: Bachelors Degree
Major/Discipline: Computer Science or Related Field
Relevant Work Experience
Minimum: 10+ years of experience in software development
Preferred: 5+ years of experience in DevOps software development

Skills & Abilities:
Minimum Requirements:
Deep knowledge of DevOps and PAAS solutions
Proficiency in Puppet, Vagrant, Nexus, Ruby, Jenkins,
Familiarity with open source tools, SonarQube, Selenium, ELK Stack, Docker, Solr
