Job Description Developer: IT Industry Experience, Spark, Obiee, NoSQL Big Data Cognos Development Data S

Job Description.:

Very strong SQL and Data modeling skills mandatory
· More than 8 to 12 years of IT Industry experience with deep focus on BI, DW & Analytics solution implementations.
· Strong data warehouse knowledge and expertise in data modelling for data warehouse e.g. Teradata, SQL Server,
· Very good experience of data integration/ETL tools especially Informatica
· Experience of working in Big Data environment likeHDFS, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, Spark
· Experience on MPP databases and appliances such as Vertica, SAP Hana, Actian etc.
· Experience on cloud based data stores like Redshift and Big Query is a plus
· Experience on NoSQL and Big Data technologies like MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis is a plus.
· Experience and knowledge of BI & Visualization Products e.g. Oracle BI (OBIEE), MS BI, Cognos, Tableau & QlikView
· Defining the technical architecture, HW & SW Sizing, technical delivery approach for BI & Analytics projects.
· Experience and proficient in designing ETL process for integration projects.
· Understanding of data quality and master data technology and processes
· Proficient in running requirements workshops with the relevant stakeholders
· Ability to engage with Business Partners to develop solution-level roadmaps within a supported business domain.
· Well versed with latest trends in technologies related to big data, business intelligence & analytics
· Ability to champion the business users interests through the design, development and QA phases of a project life-cycle by ensuring solutions proposed meet business requirements
· Create solution accelerators and execute POCs, Demos etc.
Desired
· Experience on cloud based solutions and approach
· Regular contributor to technology and architecture forums
· Experience of pre-sales and practice development.
