The team already has the skillset in-house, but they need additional hands on deck. * Client Company : Inmar Technology Solutions Job Description : Big Data Developer Position Summary: The Big Data Developer is responsible for expanding and optimizing the data and data flow architecture for the companys business intelligence ecosystem. This role will support the teams business intelligence initiatives by provisioning necessary data across a variety of data sources and ensuring optimal data delivery for consumption within the companys business intelligence platform. This role will be responsible for designing, constructing, and supporting a scalable business intelligence data platform, including appropriate data governance & management processes and tools. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimizing or even re-designing the companys data architecture to support ongoing and future products and data initiatives. Primary Accountabilities: Data Engineering o Design, construct, test, and maintain an optimal data pipeline architecture for companys business intelligence ecosystem. o Assemble large, complex data sets from a variety of sources into functional business schemas that can be leveraged by business intelligence developers, data scientists, and company business/data analysts. o Identify, design, and implement internal data process improvements (e.g. automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing processes for greater scalability) o Collaborate with business stakeholders, team members, and customers to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. o Collaborate with Data Management, and Server/NetSec teams to procure and maintain necessary business intelligence platform infrastructure. o Work effectively in a self-organizing team that supports multiple business units and products. o Participate in prioritization and grooming sessions with business stakeholders. o Maintain in-depth knowledge of supported company products and offerings, including associated databases and other data sources. Requirements: · Bachelors degree in computer science, software/computer engineering, or related field · 5+ years of relevant industry work experience · Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases including Hadoop-based systems such as Apache Hive · Experience working with distributed data processing using Apache Spark & Python. · Experience working with distributed, real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka. · Experience building and optimizing big data data pipelines, architectures and data sets. · Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes. · Experience with software development (scripting, programming, versioning, testing, deploying, etc.) on Linux and Microsoft platforms utilizing Java, Python, C#, Bash, Powershell. · Proficient in Agile software development methodology · Proficient in Google Suite · Experience with Azure DevOps and other deployment automation tools   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
