Responsibilities Understand and document the requirements for the Customer Master Data Management. Participate in design discussion and suggest design alternatives Utilize design to develop defect-free optimal code. Document the ETL pipelines and provide knowledge transfer. Required Skills 5+ Years in total IT Experience with multiple BI Projects in a data integration role 3+ years in Talend studio to create ETL transformations with Spark and Hive as the core engines on Hadoop. Experience with software version management tools and framework like Github. Work with RDBMS like SQL Server with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation Experience with Spark 2.0+, programming using dataframes, datasets and RDDs where required. Good knowledge of performance tuning in Spark, Hive and appropriate use of Hadoop file formats. In-depth understanding of the Spark Job Configuration like core, executors, driver and memory. Ability to write UDFs where needed. Thorough understanding of Hive, Map reduce, Spark SQL. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Nice to Have: Experience in any one of the following languages : Java/Python/Scala HBase, Kafka and Spark Streaming is added advantage. Experience with any one of the orchestration tools : Oozie, IBM Tivoli, Control M, Autosys etc. Experience with MapR Hadoop distribution is a plus. Knowledge of Customer Master Data management.
