Requirements • In depth knowledge of DAX, Power Query, Visualizations and Story Telling. • Identify business requirements in the context of BI and create data models to transform raw data into relevant insights. • Analyze data, provide suggestions and display data in reports using appropriate visuals from Power BI toolkit to aid decision-making. • Convert business needs into technical specifications and establish a timeline for job completion. • Engage in prototyping, designing, developing, publishing Power BI Reports. • Develop Power BI Data models and recommend best practices for report creation and visualizations. • Proven experience in quantitative analysis, data modeling, reporting, data warehousing, database architecture. • Build reports and automations for internal and external use. • Microsoft technology stack experience (SQL Server, SQL Management Studio, SSAS, Azure data platform, Azure Data Factory, Etc.) • Experience with source control and process management tools such as MS DevOps. • Working knowledge of SOA-based architecture REST/SOAP. • Exposure to an Agile Development Methodology would be beneficial. • Implement security in reports and dashboard. • Troubleshoot reporting issues and tune report performance. • Maintains a good knowledge of policies, procedures, and standards as they relate to Management Directives (MDs), Information Technology Bulletins (ITBs), Enterprise memos, Executive Orders, etc. • Candidate may be required to coordinate, schedule, organize and conduct meetings, presentations, demonstrations, training and other work-related seminars.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
