Project Description:

This position uses established work procedures to analyze, architect, design, develop, implement, maintain, re-engineer and troubleshoot small to moderate applications that impact multiple WSDOT WSF business units. Responsibilities include providing technical expertise in understanding customer business issues, being conversant in the customers business language, consulting with higher-level technical staff to resolve complex problems, and composing technical documentation.

SCOPE OF WORK:

This position is responsible for developing, converting, re-engineering and enhancing WSDOT ASP and C# .Net and applications. Duties will primarily consist of Developing and providing business user Support for multiple applications. Uses established work procedures and innovative approaches to complete assignments and coordinate projects, such as conducting needs assessments, leading projects; supporting, maintaining and enhancing existing applications. The majority of assignments and projects are moderate in size and impact an agency division or large workgroup or single business function; or internal or satellite operations, multiple users, or more than one group.

Mandatory Requirement:

* A bachelors degree in information technology/computer science,
or
Minimum 8 years dedicated programming experience
* Minimum 4 years experience building applications in C#.Net

Desirable Education and/or Skills:

* Experience in SQL Server 2008
* Experience in Integration Services, Analytic Services and Reporting Services
* Experience with VB6
Proficient in the use of MS ACCESS
* Experience with Hyperion database
* Minimum 4 years experience in writing SQL scripts and Stored procedures.
* Minimum 2 years experience working with SQL Server 2000-2008
