What You Need: • SQL Server 2008 experience (or better) • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with T-SQL • Deep understanding of performance tuning, including but not limited to: indexing, profiling and execution path analysis • Solid SQL fundamentals, such as stored procedures, triggers, views • DBA fundamentals • Previous experience in a high-availability, Internet-facing environment • Creativity and the ability to solve problems • Ability to come into the LA office, M-F Pluses: • Scale-out strategies, including horizontal partitioning • SQL Server Spatial • ETL experience • Familiarity with Agile processes • Experience with other systems, SQL and/or NoSQL. Oracle especially.
