Day to Day Responsibilities/Extra info: Wholesale Cross Business Analytics is seeking a senior application systems engineer with responsibilities related to the Business Intelligence Sales Analytics Reporting application, which is a blend of both Microsoft and Oracle technologies. Application support and development initiatives will include activities ranging from planning through deployment within a highly complex business analytics environment leveraging Oracle BI (OBIEE 12c) and SQL server technologies. Core responsibilities will include: data design and modeling, ETL process enhancement with PL/SQL and troubleshooting on SQL server, application development, Unit testing and support as well as performance improvement analysis. The ideal candidate will be motivated to contribute and lead design and development initiatives within a highly complex business environment. Candidate will work closely with business partners to evaluate business requirements, write functional design specs and participate in efficient development delivery and deployment. Evaluate system designs for efficiency with focus on performance. Responsible for collaborating closely with teammates, DBAs, and interface partners as well as ensuring quality throughout the development lifecycle. Participate as needed in compliance, risk and regulatory processes within Wells Fargo. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides as needed.
