Job Description :

Title: Sr. Systems Analyst Programming Specialist – BI Congos

Duration: Minimum 6 month contract high potential it will be longer than this based on project needs

Hourly Rate: $60/Hr on C2C

Location: Nashville, TN

Summary:

The Sr. Systems Analyst Programming Specialist – BI Cognos will be part of the Performance Management team. This Analyst will be responsible for developing, documenting, and supporting standardized and/or customized reports across multiple platforms. This role will work with peers, management and leadership from all aspects of CHS. Direct experience in report writing tools: Business Objects, Cognos. Teradata, SQL Server, SQL Server Report. Working knowledge of data extraction, data analysis and relational data structures is required. Job Duties:

· Support building analytical capabilities to drive growth, efficiencies, and automation across end-to-end of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) initiatives.

· Work with key stakeholders to help drive improvements.

· Lead a team of analysts to, identify opportunities, drive result, create tools and data products and recommend actions.

· Monitors and modifies the Business Intelligence systems in a Data Warehouse environment providing senior level analytical solutions and light administration.

· Design and implement Business Intelligence Data Warehousing solutions to integrate data from one or more disparate sources.

· Review and analyze reporting implementations to identify problems and areas needing enhancement.

· Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.

· Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address.

· Coordinate with our architecture group to plan expansion of capacity and planning for out BI platforms.



Requirements:

· Bachelors degree preferred or additional professional applicable work experience

· Minimum of 5 years of Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse experience designing/implementing BI/DW solutions.

· Maintains and updates the Cognos reporting framework using Cognos Framework Manager (Cognos v8 or higher).

· Develops, tests and deploys reporting packages.

· Identifies report data lineage.

· Researches data variances.

· Updates and modifies underlying data structures as assigned.

· Conducts daily and recurring data audit activities including validating data availability, data quality, reporting access security.

· Designs and develops dashboards.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in performing high and low level project analysis and design.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience designing/developing OLAP databases and an excellent understanding of cubes.

· Dynamic Oral and Written communication required.
