Submission Deadline: 5/21/2019 04:00:00 PM EDT Start Date: 6/3/2019 End Date: 6/30/2021 Client: Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles(DHSMV) Description: The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles ("Department" or "DHSMV"), Division of Information Systems Administration (ISA) is seeking Information Technology (IT) consulting services. The chosen vendor must be a Cisco Gold Partner capable of providing consultants with expert level network engineer experience. The chosen vendor will work directly with the Departments Network Services team. Services provided by the vendor will include, but not limited to providing ongoing support for the Departments Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) and remote access platforms. Vendor will take a senior technical role in problem resolution of critical network incidents, senior technical role for modernizing existing network infrastructure as well as senior technical role for network architectural design and/or redesign. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis, for ongoing enhancements and support to the network environment. Scope of Work: Services Provided by the Vendor a. The Vendor shall provide an engineering consultant for support and on-going enhancements to the network environment, which shall include: 1) On-going technical support and issue resolution for the DHSMV infrastructure. 2) Onsite or remote support of the network infrastructure. 3) Working closely with the staff to ensure knowledge transfer of infrastructure configuration, support and related tasks. 4) Design and technical recommendations, as necessary, to support DHSMV initiatives. b. Vendor Personnel Requirements 1) The Vendor must provide personnel within two (2) weeks of the Contract start date, or as directed by the Department, whichever is later. 2) If Vendor personnel terminates employment with the Vendor during the Contract term, the Vendor must fill the position within two (2) weeks. 3) The Vendors personnel schedule will be developed in consultation with the Departments Contract Manager and may not always be consecutive weeks. 4) Vendor personnel may not be reassigned by the Vendor to other projects without prior written approval from the Departments Contract Manager. 5) All salaries, insurance, expenses (excluding State required training and travel- related expenses), benefits, taxes, and other monetary or non-monetary remunerations of Vendor personnel are the responsibility of the Vendor. 6) Department personnel will not be responsible for the evaluation or discipline of Vendor personnel. 7) If Vendor personnel do not exhibit the knowledge, skills, and abilities, and other qualities necessary to ensure timely and successful completion of assigned tasks, duties, and responsibilities, the Vendor shall provide a resume of a qualified candidate within two (2) weeks from written notice from the Department and shall ensure that the selected replacement candidate has the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities and is available to immediately replace the unqualified candidate. 8) Vacation time due to Vendor personnel must be coordinated with the Departments Contract Manager. The Vendor shall work with the Department regarding scheduling of vacation time for contracted employees and shall make all reasonable efforts to comply with the Departments requirements. 9) Vendor personnel will be allowed to attend business functions normally part of Vendors yearly activities.
