TCP/IP VSphere Windows Server 200020032008 Administration Active Directory UNIX Linu   Requirement id 22357 Job title Engineer Job location in Richmond, VA Skills required TCP/IP, VMware 4/5, VSphere, Windows Server 200020032008 Administrati Open Date 24-Dec-2014 Close Date Job type Not specified Duration 3 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type Face to Face interview    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Engineer: TCP/IP, VMware 4/5, VSphere, Windows Server 200020032008 Administrati • Supervise a team responsible for building, maintaining, and troubleshooting all servers which reside on a Windows / UNIX Platform; • Supervise a team responsible for building, maintaining, and troubleshooting all Virtual Servers (VMware and Citrix); • Provides status reports, inventories, vendor management duties, contract management, metric reporting, and project updates as required; • Serves as a technical expert in situations where customers and team members seek server platform and operating system guidance; • Collaborates with internal and external customers and resources; • Contributes and support multiple concurrent projects; • Provides guidance towards the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of all applications whether new or legacy; • Conducts strategy meetings and “white boarding” sessions to facilitate solutions. • Develops trend analysis and reporting documentation geared towards remediation effort • Compile and develop “how-to” documentation based on size and nature of work; • Works out of a ticketing system which houses all task and project work; • Advanced experience managing a team of server engineers with dissimilar disciplines (i.e.: Windows and Unix) • Advanced experience managing projects of small, medium, and large scale. • Advanced experience providing status reports, inventories, vendor management duties, contract management, metric reporting, and project updates. • Advanced experience conducting team meetings and collaborative “white-boarding” sessions. • Experience administering Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange version 2003 and higher. • Experience administering VMware 3.5 and vSphere 4.0 • Experience administering UNIX and Linux ( Red Hat CentOS and SuSE)Systems • Experience administering TCP/IP based networking configurations • Experience administering Blade Servers (HP and IBM)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
