This is a software delivery and operationally focused position for SIMS platform. This position requires a broad range of skills and experience ranging from SOA knowledge to build tools and configuration management to relational databases. We are looking for senior engineers with background in supporting complex, high volume and highly available J2ee application environment. Responsibilities include: • Identify and co-ordinate assembly of software modules pertaining to a release. • Coordinate availability of pre-production testing environments, build and deployment of applications, dev testing and certify releases to QA environment. • Facilitate release planning and status meetings and identify issues and risks associated with delivery. This includes the tracking of deliverables with project leads as the release moves through the various SDLC phases. • Prepare installation and troubleshooting documents and participate in operational reviews. • Troubleshoot production issues and provide developer support for installs. • Provide on-call pager support during off-hours as needed • Identify new monitoring and operational metrics and develop scripts for install and post install monitoring Basic Qualifications The successful candidate would have 7+ years overall software development experience Minimum Qualifications • 7+ years hands-on experience in configuring and supporting Java/J2EE applications. • In-depth experience in configuring and deploying J2ee applications in a high volume, high availability environment. • Prior experience with deploying and supporting large scale Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) implementations. • Working knowledge of relational databases and Batch frameworks. • Working knowledge of configuring and deploying messaging middlewares like MQ • Hands-on experience with SOA testing tools like SOAP UI or Jmeter. Preferred Skills • Prior experience with Fraud prevention and authentication area • Prior experience with WebLogic or Spring TC is a PLUS • Prior experience with Oracle database is a PLUS • Prior experience working with Linux environments and associated scripting languages   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
