Our application suite includes a national Electronic Medical Records system for Walgreens clinics. Responsible for managing all source code and release processes using Microsofts Team Foundation Server (TFS), this role will work closely with developers, testers, project managers, and our operations support team throughout the application lifecycle. Strict attention to detail is required to ensure software version control is executed and maintained across multiple concurrent release streams. Responsibilities Assist, coordinate, and lead Release Manager in scheduling and coordination of builds and deployments Working knowledge .NET Web. Application Build / Deployment (MS Visual Studio 2012, TFS 2010/12) software Manages source code repositories, creating projects, new code branches, and merging code streams in TFS Create and maintain build scripts to automate builds and sustain continuous integration Installation, configuration, and management of build servers and build agents Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of IIS 7 configurations and schema comparison tools across the environments Oversee and ensure automated build, release, and test suites run smoothly Ensure system integrity and enforce software version control policies and procedures Review and improve current TFS processes and procedures Create and maintain installers for Windows services and web applications Generate and communicate reports and release notes on results/quality of builds and deployments Initiate new users in the system and train in tool usage Migrates build artifacts to appropriate deployment, test, and production environments Must be able to handle on-call situations and occasionally be available off-hours for deployments Maintain continuing education on the ever-changing web development tool sets Job Requirements Strong understanding of development methodologies Strong knowledge of software development and deployment fundamentals Minimum of 2 years as a Microsoft ASP.NET Build / Release Engineer Minimum of 2 years with TFS (source control, builds, and work items) Minimum of 2 years managing parallel software development and releases Minimum of 2 years with Visual Studio.NET and/or developing ASP.NET web applications Minimum of 1 year with Windows Server O/S, IIS, and deployment of web applications & Windows services Minimum of 1 years of experience using SQL Server Management Studio and managing databases and applying scripts Plus Experience as a software developer using VB.NET is a plus Knowledge of Node JS and Couch DB is a plus Knowledge of application performance measures is a plus Knowledge of Network / F5 Load Balancing configurations is a plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
