A solid candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience with TFS along with three (3) or more years in DevOps related practices such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. We are looking for somebody that is solid on automation and business communication. A good candidate will have knowledge of PowerShell scripting and related Windows scripting. They should be comfortable talking to customers and providing best practice guidance on implementing DevOps practices around TFS and Windows environments. Given the breadth of DevOps practices, the candidate should be familiar with basic web programming concepts and should not shy away from advanced scripting requirements. FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Work with the Client to understand and prioritize DevOps tasks • Implement and Automate continuous delivery pipelines using TFS Release Management • Implement and Automate database deployments for SQL Server using a combination of TFS Release Management and Red Gate tools • Automate environment creation using TFS Release Management, PowerShell Scripts, Windows scripts, and related tools • Design and develop custom dashboards to display status for various environments • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced and agile environment with shifting priorities • Lead status meetings with Clients and clearly articulate current status, milestones, risks, and consultative recommendations • Provide value-add to Client in improving DevOps practices REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE • Minimum 2 years of experience with TFS Release Management • Minimum 3 years of experience with DevOps practices in a prior DevOps role • Solid understanding of TFS including continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines • Solid scripting knowledge including Windows scripts and PowerShell scripts • Ability to recognize business needs, analyze requests, recommend solid technical solutions, and lead in delivering the solution • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and relentless attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter expects (SME) • Create weekly status reports • Work with internal CGI management team to grow the account REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE • Excellent communication skills – written and oral • Solid technical skills – ASP.NET MVC, AngularJS, SQL Server • Solid consulting skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
