RESPONSIBILITIES UW Stout is in the early stages of migrating from Tableau local desktop to Tableau Server. We have 20+/- users that currently use the application to varying degrees. UW Stout wishes to expand the use of Tableau by initially connecting to our data warehouse, as well as other ad-hoc data sources or data sets. The consultant would work with UW Stouts Data Warehouse Administrator, UW Stouts security staff and/or other external UW System resources to design and implement the following deliverables: • Assist the UW Stout security team in defining/creating necessary Active Directory Objects • Assist the UW Stout security team in defining/creating necessary SSO Authentication • Define/Create/Implement User-Based Security Group and Roles within Tableau Server • Define/Create/Implement User-Based Filtering within datasets, dashboards and reporting • Document User-Based Security configuration. • Consult/Train existing UW Stout Data Warehouse Administrator on User-Based Security configuration. • Consult on options for creating a Steward/Custodian user access request tool • Populate/Test initial Data Warehouse dataset • Resolve initial punch-list/break-fix issues   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
