Job Description: Data accuracy and comprehension is critical to decision-making within CIT. The Data Analytics position will focus on ensuring data compliance, precision, and awareness across multiple diverse data sets that CIT owns. Examples include resource labor allocation, program/project data, and operational metrics. This position is also responsible for telling stories with the data through reporting and dashboards. The challenge is to understand the complex dependencies (upstream/downstream) of how data is used and find ways to connect seemingly disparate sets of data to help CIT leaders make well informed decisions. Also, provide insights into what is missing from our radar. The ideal candidate will also identify opportunities for automation whenever possible. Must be a self-starter and able to thrive in ill-defined and ambiguous situations. Comprehensive, day-to-day business management functions to support the Chief Information Officer (CIO) may also required. Must have high level of energy and flexibility to get things done and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. QUALIFICATIONS • Strong attention to details, ability to think analytically and independently • Ability to tell stories with large data sets – both written and verbal • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with other departments and varying levels of management across a global team footprint • Ability to function self-sufficiently in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously • Meticulous follow-ups and follow-through of issues and actions to drive them to closure in a timely manner; Work closely with the Technical Development team to identify and communicate critical paths • Experience collaborating with cross functional teams to build schedules and plans, as well as identify and manage dependencies • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles • Experience coding APIs to facilitate automation a plus When you speak to candidates for this position, PLEASE be sure to record answers to the below qualifying questions: 1.
