This includes: 1. Monitoring alerts and events from the following sources: a. FDOTs security operations toolset. (Defender for Endpoints, Malwarebytes, additional toolsets as added.) b. Florida Digital Services Cybersecurity Operations Center. c. FDOT Security Operations Center Tier 2/Tier 3 Staff 2. Investigation and validation of alerts, ruling out false-positive results. 3. Resolving low-level events and incidents that the technician has been given authority and access to address. 4. Coordinating with Information Technology staff statewide in investigating events. 5. Building expertise in the available toolsets to aid in creation of efficient and repeatable processes. 6. Participating in incident remediation efforts, including those that could potentially be large scale and require after-hour and weekend work. 5 Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields. Or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 4 years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, applications development, database design and administration; one to two years of experience with information security.
