This is a key support role. The resource also participates and/or leads in construction of DHHS models and develops source to target mapping and develops or supports development of all necessary code, including DDL, ETL, and views, as needed to supply appropriate DHHS and other data for DHHSs reporting, visualization, and analytical needs. The Data Warehouse Senior DBA is needed to ensure that the DHHS Data Warehouse has the needed functionality necessary to support all reporting and analysis data required by DHHS. In addition, the DW Senior DBA may be called upon to assist in supporting or enhancing other DHHS DW models and processes that are critical to DHHS. In addition, the Senior Data Warehouse DBA will support the overall progression of the DHHS enterprise Data Warehouse databases that are critical to the Department of Health and Human Services. Such projects may include critical components of the DW batch environment, a common batch framework for the DHHS Enterprise Data Warehouse. Configuration management will be enhanced by the utilization of Rational Team Concert (RTC) versioned code repository and automated build capability. Also, the DW Senior DBA may work on other projects that modify or enhance existing DHHS data warehouse models to add value to the Department by building tools and working with end users to supply the data needed for increased productivity. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: The key objective of the DW Senior DBA is to assist DTMB staff in the loading of the database model and data marts to ensure that all of the anticipated reporting needs of the project are fully supported and that all reasonable analytics can be obtained. 1. 2 - 5 years experience in each of the following: a. Teradata or Oracle (10 points) b. Data Warehousing (5 points) c. Linux (10 points) d.
