Testing Development UAT Implementation Tester (Jobs in BOSTON, MA)   Requirement id 19513 Job title Tester Job location in Boston, MA Skills required Testing, Development, Test Scripts, UAT Implementation Open Date 01-Jul-2014 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 10 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Tester: Testing, Development, Test Scripts, UAT Implementation POSITION OVERVIEW: Lead role for testing activities related to the PeopleSoft HRMS 9.2 upgrade Manage the entire testing effort from unit testing, system testing, integration testing, UAT testing, and simulated production testing Manage the testing team and provide guidance, leadership and mentoring to team members Work with end users and project team to clarify end user requirements and business requirements as they relate to testing Develop the testing strategy, work plan, resource requirements, and project schedule for the testing effort Assist PMO in reporting testing results, status and exceptions to management Identify opportunities to minimize project risks and escalate as appropriate REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (5 years mandatory minimum experience): Lead the development, preparation and execution of the testing strategy and plan, test approach, test schedule and test processes Lead the development and implementation of a testing methodology for the project team to follow Lead the development of test scenarios, test cases, test scripts and test data to be used Establish a traceability methodology to tie testing efforts back to specific business requirements and customizations Develop and implement testing procedures to be used by the testing team members including test scripts, execution, defect tracking, defect fixes, and regression testing. Provide matrix for tracking test results and status for each level of testing effortsunit, system, integration, UAT, and simulated production. Strong facilitation, communication, team building, negotiation and influencing skills Experience with large organizations (50,000+ employee populations) Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization Managing other team members ADDITIONAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (preferred): Experience in an ERP packaged implementation/upgrade or large scale change initiative preferred Testing management activities for a prior PeopleSoft packaged software product rollout/upgrade is preferred Public Sector experience is preferred Broad knowledge of current business processes and practices is preferred Microsoft office suite of tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio) is preferred Knowledge of Rational Jazz Tools (Rational Functional Tester, Rational Performance Tester, Rational Team Concert)( would be desirable   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
