We are seeking a tester experienced in batch applications on a UNIX environment. This position requires a hands-on test analyst who with minimal supervision can provide expert advice and leadership overseeing the complex activities associated with all phases of testing including; functional, integration, user, system and end-to-end. Must be able to read and interpret functional specifications and have the ability to turn them into test specifications, scenarios and cases. Experience with Oracle databases and EFT applications would be preferable. Responsibilities: • Proven experience in developing test plans, test scripts and documenting test results • Analyzes specifications and creates test plans. • Uses strong analytical skills to solve problems and makes decisions based on limited precedents or guidelines. • Actively participates in project activities and completes deliverables with minimal supervision. • Provides supportive analysis that impacts the use of resources, but does not have authority to delegate resources. • Executes test cases and creates metrics based upon test results. Requirements: • Associates degree or higher and at least 3 years of testing experience. • Proven experience in developing test plans, test scripts and documenting test results. • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast paced environment. • Experience testing in a SOLARIS or other Unix environments. • Experience with complex SQL queries, preferably in Oracle. • Demonstrates excellent problem solving and decision making skills. • Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment. • Understanding of EFT terminology is preferred. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills in listening, negotiating, influencing, problem resolution.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
