Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of complex, mission-critical middleware installations. Coordinate and direct research efforts to discover modifications and enhancements to existing configurations and procedures. Manage Middleware release and patch levels, technology versioning and product roadmaps. DUTIES: -Responsible for the configuration, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of high-availability middleware and web services that make up the strategic Application Infrastructure/enabling Technologies (MQ, AppServers and Tibco) -Create and update system documentation -Acts as a liaison with application teams and infrastructure teams to define requirements and/or determination of problems -Evaluate overall system performance to develop and implement recommendations to address and resolve issues * -Design and implement monitoring and alerting technologies and processes. Off-hours support and on-call rotation with the flexibility to work overtime when required Capacity planning and analysis. -Performance tuning -UNIX Shell scripting (bash and korn shell are preferred) 8-10 years MQ Series Administration experience MQ Series, Windows, IBM MQ Series, Websphere MQ, UNIX, TIBCO, Jboss Portal, IBM Websphere Messsage Broker (WMB) -Expert knowledge of IBM Websphere MQ V6 and V7.5 -Experience installing, migrating, upgrading the environment and maintaining deploying and configuring J2EE-environments -Skilled at monitoring performance of software and hardware and recommending and implementing changes to maintain acceptable performance application SLAs. -Experience anticipating future performance requirements to support growth and scalability -Able to develop new technical processes and make recommendations for the improvement of existing processes -Shell (bsh/ksh) and python scripting for administrative automation Experience implementing and managing SSL certificates   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
