Description:



Heavy emphasis on both developing complex build/deployment systems and providing support to a large community of developers and testers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing software the right way and will maximize efficiency within the SDLC through automation. A keen eye towards troubleshooting and solving problems is paramount. As a CI Engineer, you will work with both agile developers and infrastructure engineers on a daily basis to automate every aspect of the software development/delivery process from inception to deployment and operations. The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades technologist with the ability to pick up new skills quickly. Were looking for a versatile candidate who thrives on being able to work with new technologies and who can bring their creativity and passion in creating innovative software delivery systems that are essential to the overall development effort.

Responsibilities:

Set and maintain an environment where software delivery teams move their subsystems output on a routine basis such that the entire system is continuously available

Configure, implement, and automate Continuous Delivery pipelines for software delivery teams utilizing tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Apigee, Windy Road BWUnit or TibUnit, Tibco BuildEAR, Tibco AppManage, Checkstyle or pmd, and SonarQube

Demonstrated ability to lead entire group in continuous improvement of software integration, systems level automating testing, performance testing and deployment

Experienced in collaborating with team members who have diverse backgrounds in software and software systems

Experience using Test Driven Development (TDD). Must be able to educate less experienced developers on TDD principles and best practices

5+ years of Tibco, and Java software development experience in an agile environment, utilizing lean/Scrum/XP Programming software development principles

Development leadership experience - demonstrated leadership of software engineering teams

Experience with enterprise level, high-availability application development required

Experience in developing clean, well architected code

Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments

Familiarity with systems level configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef

Strong database skills preferably experience using Oracle

Data (SQL or similar query language) and data constructs (XML, JSON)

Experience developing/consuming Web Services (REST, SOAP, JSON)

Strong understanding of testing methodologies such as functional, SOA and performance testing.
