Our client has a contract need for a Senior Test Automation Developer with retail experienceto partner cross functionally in the design, development, testing and implementation phases of assigned projects. He or she will attend Business Requirement Document review sessions and develop testing strategies based on requirements. Role Responsibilities: Understands critical system integrations and develops appropriate test & validation plans. Coordinates Quality Assurance environments, including partnering with Infrastructure team on environment set up and configuration, coordinating testing with UAT Testers, and managing test data. Prepares detailed test plans and testing methodologies based on documented requirements and interviews with Project Management, business partners, and development teams. Estimates testing effort based on requirements and test script counts Identifies test scope, cycles and manages executions. Provides reporting on total testing progress, pass/fail rates and blocking defects. Creates and manipulates mock data in order to test. Prepares test data for Functional testers. Creates and executes detailed test scripts. Coordinate functional testing with business users. Develop test plans, assign test executions and track progress. Report on progress as per management requirements. Tracks and communicates application errors in a clear and concise manner. Ensures that all defects are captured in Jira. Manages Jira defects and ensures defects are kept up to date, assigned appropriately and driving to resolution. Analyzes results, draws conclusions from test results and make recommendations for resolution. Coordination, assistance, and communication of test environment build requirements. Ensures no defective products are moved into production. Ensures that testing conforms to clients SOX Compliance standards. Essential Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in IS or equivalent experience Experience: 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance Minimum 3 years of QA experience in TradeStone (Bamboo Rose) application (Module knowledge required: Order Management, Material Management and Costing) Demonstrated ability to review business requirements and translate into testing plans and scripts Experience creating manual and automated test scripts Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking, and resolving quality issues Experience with creating mock data and manipulating data, and executing database queries to validate data and metrics via scripts and programming. Experience working with vendors through test lifecycle and to ensure SLA compliance Detailed organizational and coordination skills Ability to clearly communicate to business users, IT development groups, and external vendors Ability to communicate clearly; in writing, by phone and in person Ability to build test plans and estimate testing effort for cross functional projects Ability to understand business processes and integration of those processes into the systems to ensure complete end to end testing of software Proven problem solving, training, and analytical skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
