Description :

It requires the services of oneTechnical Support specialist, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Technical Support 1Category, Core Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for theTexas Education Agency(TEA).

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire” and are the property of the TEA. TEA may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. TEAwill pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).

Texas Education Agency is seeking a PC Support Analyst for PC Refresh/Deployment project. The person will be supporting the hardware refresh/deployment project in deploying Windows 10 Desktops/Laptops. They will also be responsible for Installing TEA approved Softwares, Printers and other peripherals for the users.

Skills/Experience:

* Provides support for PC hardware/software to the Agency and ensure that all systems have a 99% uptime.

* Imaging and provisioning the new computer for users. Meet with users onsite to migrate user profile from current PC to a new PC.

* Support and Troubleshoot complex technical Microsoft Windows Desktops and Laptops related issues.

* Provides technical analysis and resolution of system problems. Identifies, researches, and recommends options to management. Ensures that all Security policies are followed.

* Ensure that all help desk request and incidents are resolved and closed in a timely manner based upon priority.

Preferences:

· Hands-on work experience in desktop support.

· Experience in supporting a large-scale hardware / PCs deployment project is an asset.

· Must be customer oriented and have excellent customer interfacing and support skills.

· Must have work experience supporting local area network connected devices.

· Experience in supporting Microsoft Windows 10 Operating Systems.

· Microsoft Office 365 products

· Strong resource and time management skills for systems support

· Ability to work at onsite at a client facility as required.

· Solid problem solving/trouble-shooting abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, detail and process oriented.
