Proficient troubleshooting abilities on all aspects of application support including connectivity, databases and servers. Knowledge of Web Services including Microsoft IIS and Apache Tomcat. Requires good knowledge of Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server and Linux OS. Experience with monitoring tools is a plus. Understands the workflow and process requirements of complex application systems. Demonstrated ability to be the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex applications. Document and maintain configuration documentation. Maintain technical relationship with vendors for support. AWS experience a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to effectively interface with technical staff. Strong customer service and problem solving skills. Self-motivated, able to work independently, and takes initiative. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to work successfully with a diverse group of customers. Understands business function related to the application. Must adjust to changing priorities. Duties and responsibilities: Assist with migrations to AWS from an application perspective. Determine what changes need to happen on the application prior to migration. Develop and maintain system documentation Post migration support Follow Change control procedures. Troubleshoot, and resolve any reported problems Provide application performance tuning Work closely with vendors to tune and troubleshoot applications Engage with the users to perform pre-production testing.
