Assesses organizational needs and evaluates the overall effectiveness of the bus tracking application, the individual bus mobile data terminals and helps to provide input, feedback and establish overall success. Work closely with the vendor to ensure that a two-way partnership is established to solve issues expediently. Data verification in routing software and knowledge of mapping applications and functions. Understanding GEOSPATIAL applications. Troubleshoot MDT issues Interface data reports to Operations team and Call Center Work with the Time and attendance system interface along with the field trips application. Other duties as assigned Work Experience: 5 years in Information Technology. Familiarization with pupil transportation technology applications such as global position systems, tablet technology and database architecture preferred. GIS (Geographic Information Systems) experience preferred in the analyzation of spatial data through mapping software and making electronic map edits. Knowledge of troubleshooting database integration issues preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Good verbal and written communication skills. Training and teaching skills. Analytical thinking. Problem solving. Electronic map edits, geofence creation and integration. Ability to organize work in a precise manner Solves problems using clear logic from problem definition to solution. Ability to concentrate for long periods of time and is relentless in the pursuit of meaningful solutions. Is able to identify where expertise is required and is willing to be self-directed in gaining knowledge and seeking help. Some at this level is self-motivated, learns quickly, follows instructions precisely and documents his/her work carefully.
