The temporary/contracted employee will provide additional Help Desk telephone and dispatch support, working hours that coincide with permanent IT Infrastructure staff project task assignments, absences and lunches, to improve the overall level of service provided to Help Desk customers, as well as provide a Help Desk presence to customers earlier in the day.

PC Support and Active Directory account management in a Windows environment and general Help Desk system experience using HelpStar/ServicePro preferred

Anticipated Hours of work: Weekly, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., MT., with an expected half hour unpaid lunch break. Weekly work hours not to exceed 36 hours.
Work location: Boise Office 300 N 6th st Boise ID 83702.

Agency Expected Deliverables
Experience: Two (2) plus years of experience.
Education: Two (2) year college degree or equivalent study in the area of IT Support

Description of skills and knowledge include:

Work with internal customers and end users to identify, troubleshoot and resolve IT issues/concerns.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Good written and oral communications skills
• Good knowledge of PC Support and Active Directory
• Strong ability to analyze and resolve issues
• Experience working with a Help Desk System (HelpStar/ServicePro preferred)


Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.)
Excellent communication skills and personable, as the top priority is providing quality customer service.
Technical knowledge should be at or surpass the level of basic Windows desktop troubleshooting.
