Description

**DGS requesting to work with SWAM vendors only for these two roles so this req will not appear on the weekly vendors updates that go out to all vendors. Resumes due to the mgr on Friday, Feb 5

Beginning January all team members are required ot be ON SITE Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week (no exceptions). Parking NOT provided for contractors.

If selected, must provide proof of vaccination /be fully vaccinated bc of on site requirement.

DGS/DPS has a need for temporary resources beginning January through approximately May 27, 2022. No extentions expected based on the project deadline in May.

IMPORTANT: DGS requires that FTE employees AND Contractors that will be on site be FULLY VACCINATED (no exceptions). Before you submit your candidate please confirm this is the case. If they are not then they are not a fit and cannot be considered. If selected, a separate form from DGS confirming the details will be required. You do not have to provide proof until an offer is accepted.

Must be able to pass a national criminal background check if selected.


ABOUT THE ROLE:

**This role will be 100% phone support. Pls make sure your candidate is aware of this before submitting.

DGS is supporting the eVA transition for state agencies and higher Ed. As such, tech support in the form of 3 Tech Analyst/HelpDesk roles are needed to support the extra work load.

These folks will be answering phones, completing trouble tickets around the transition. DGS will provide training on their process and ticketing system as well as any on line learning tools they use to the selected candidates.

Candidates must be technically savvy, quick learners and professional in appearance and phone manner.

Beginning January 3, all team members are required ot be ON SITE Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week (no exceptions).

Per DGS policy, if selected, the contractor must be FULLY VACCINATED for offer to be accepted. Proof of vaccination will be required at the time of offer (no prior proof needed unless selected) but you may want to ask befire you submit them so you do not waste a spot.

Parking is NOT provided for contractors

Customer Care Technical Analyst

Demonstrated analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot and solve internet application, browser issues, connectivity and other system problems.

Must have excellent analytical, technical and communication skills in order to ask questions to determine nature of problem and walk customer through problem-solving process to resolve technical problems.

Document user or system issues and escalate to appropriate team members or groups.

Ability to interpret and understand impacts of procurement policy and procedures to system functions while closing a high number of issues daily with a sense of urgency and providing excellent customer service.

Skilled in multi-tasking; managing multiple IT related work efforts; monitoring, assigning, and addressing trouble tickets; troubleshooting, and balancing priorities of other assigned workloads.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills at both technical and non-technical levels.
Excellent customer service skills and experience.
Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills. Experience with a Help Desk issue ticket tracking systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of tact and diplomacy to promote a positive image of eVA and the eVA team.
Conflict management skills to handle difficult customer situations. Positive attitu
