Troubleshooting Hadoop Java Agile Development Methodologies Business Applications D   Requirement id 66542 Job title Developer Job location in Englewood, CO Skills required Technical Leadership, SQL Queries, Troubleshooting, Hadoop Java Agile Development Methodolog Open Date 03-Jan-2018 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 11 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Developer: Technical Leadership, SQL Queries, Troubleshooting, Hadoop Java Agile Development Methodolog Client Info : Comcast-Englewood Candidate must be our W2 Employee Responsibility: • Provide technical leadership within teams responsible for the development and support of enterprise big data applications within the Hadoop ecosystem • Develop batch software components that ingest and enhance large data files in a Hadoop ecosystem • Utilize SQL queries to extract large volumes of raw heterogeneously sourced data from largescale data warehouses and platforms, including Hadoop • Ensure data security, data quality, and governance of data within the Hadoop Ecosystem • Deploys the release of new technologies as well as designs, installs, configures, maintains and performs system integration testing of PC/server operating systems] related utilities and hardware • Responsible for Troubleshooting server problems as reported by users • Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products • Develop, and maintain development best practices for developing against Hadoop clusters • Supports Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment • Develop and support applications based test-driven, behavior-driven, and agile development methodologies • Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth, installs new servers and maintains the server infrastructure • Collaborate with administrators and application teams to ensure that business applications are highly available and performing within agreed upon service levels Skills: • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field; or equivalent work experience • Typically has 6 to 8 years IT work experience • Experience utilizing Java and bid data (Hadoop) technologies, such as Hive, Pig, Sqoop, and SQL programming language to develop big data applications • Requires a high level of expertise in multiple system environments • Must be able to translate business requirements to technical requirements and to write concise, high-quality technical documents and be able to communicate technical information clearly Additional Skills: KAFKA administration and/or development skills is a plus Notes : Due to new MSP guidelines we can only use subcontractor candidates who require sponsorship, other candidates sourced from vendors will need to work on Apexs W2 in exchange for referral fee.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
