This is a mid-senior level role to assist the team in automating all the manual testing including Web GUIs and API testing. Ruby experience is highly preferred. Primary Responsibilities: A senior DevOps Automation Engineer, technical expert in creation and development of system test automation scripts. Apply and develop automated test frameworks and tools to meet project needs. Build automated test tools and scripts for driving system tests. Record and maintain source control of automation scripts. Maintain and update automated test scripts based on test results or changes in design. Work closely with engineering and project team members to understand system training needs. Trace tests and test results to system and subsystem requirements. Operate within defined processes and procedures of the software development life-cycle consistent with a regulated environment. Identify anomalies and issues, and investigate to identify root cause. Create and maintain detailed documentation for the test plans, test scenario us, test cases, execution, and results of tests and studies. Document and organize test results and write reports. Specific Skills and/or knowledge, credentials, or professional certifications: Test automation concepts and understanding Scripting languages for test automation e.g., Ruby, Python or other OOP language Experience with automation tools like SeleniumjWebDriver Unit testing with Rspec and familiarity with Test Driven Development Strong documentation and communication skills. 5. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly Superior debugging/troubleshooting skills.
