SUMMARY This position is the designated subject matter expert (SME) in EDI testing within EDIFECS and leads testers in understanding requirements and review created test cases and scripts. In addition, this position works with the TSAs/BAs in troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis on defects. The UAT Analyst will be responsible for developing Test scripts for EDIFECS testing, ensuring traceability of scripts to requirements and design artifacts, executing the UAT plan, documenting testing results. and support other HPF testing activities. Testing activities could include End to End, Regression and Smoke testing of HPF. The UAT Analyst will also support troubleshooting and analysis and triage of Problems coming out of production. This position also requires close collaboration with our partners, Vendors and System Integrator. The UAT Analyst may also support other systems and projects outside of EDI/EDIFECS as needed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform UAT in support of IT system development, primarily for EDIFECS, including the following: • Work with Business in analyzing EDI/EDIFECS requirements, providing feedback and comments • Actively participate in JADs • This position will be a part of an Agile team delivering custom EDI solutions for HBE • Validate EDI files generated from HPF System • Process EDI files through Edifecs System • Analyze the Transactions and the policy unit in Edifecs system • Create and deliver Daily and Weekly status reports • Create and deliver Test Completion Reports • Communicate UAT Environment needs • Communicate and develop Test Data needs for execution • Develop test scenarios based on business process flows. • Develop test cases based on test scenarios. • Perform data preparation activities to support testing. • Execute test cases and report test outcomes. • Provide help to the Support desk in certain areas such as Account Creation or Modification • Work with System Integrator (SI) vendor to analyze test issues/defects. • Work with business area representatives to perform UAT. • Review SI vendor system and integration test results. • Comment on test related deliverables. • Collaboration with our partners, Vendors and System Integrator. • Work with and support the Problem Management Group for troubleshooting and analysis and triage of problems coming out of production. • Mentor and train junior testers as needed • Compile test results. • Facilitate testing meetings. QUALIFICATIONS Required: • Bachelors Degree in information technology, computer science, or related field. • Seven years experience supporting IT system development, with five years in software testing.
