Other Testing activities could include End to End, Performance and Smoke testing. The UAT Analyst will also support the Problem Management Group for troubleshooting and analysis and triage of Problems coming out of production. This position also requires close collaboration with our partners, Vendors and System Integrator. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform UAT in support of IT system development including the following: • Develop test scenarios based on business process flows. • Facilitate Scrum Team in definition and creation of Epics, User Stories and acceptance criteria. • Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and Stories Definition of Done (DoD). • Ability to identify UAT Environment needs, triage issues and determine mitigations to drive up-time. • Develop test case scenarios from User Story acceptance criteria. • Develop test cases based on test scenarios. • Perform data preparation activities to support testing. • Execute test cases and report test outcomes. • Work with System Integrator (SI) vendor to analyze test issues/defects. • Work with business area representatives to perform UAT. • Review SI vendor system and integration test results. • Comment on test related deliverables. • Mentor and train junior testers as needed • Compile test results. • Participate in testing meetings. • Identify and communicate data requirements to be configured for test execution. • Execute test cases and report test outcomes, through ability to create Jira dashboards and reports. • Work with the Scrum Team to analyze test issues/defects. • Engage those across the business to actively assist testing efforts. • Plan and coordinate testing activities with our external partners, Vendors and System Integrator. • Maintain and Monitor defects in Defect Management tool (ALM, Jira and Zendesk) • Collaboration with our partners, Vendors and System Integrator. QUALIFICATIONS Required: • Three years or more experience supporting IT system development. • Bachelors Degree in information technology, computer science, or related field. NOTE: Qualifying experience may substitute year for year of education. • Experience with SDLC, waterfall and agile system development Desired: • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Ability to understand complex system functionality. • Knowledge of software testing methodology and techniques. • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for testing software. • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and ability to communicate complex concepts. • Ability to thrive in a deadline driven, stressful project environment. • Minimum 2 years experience working for a Health Insurance Exchange • Minimum 2 years experience testing web-based health insurance software, Edifecs file processing software, EDI transaction and integrated eligibility systems • Experience in Agile Methodology • Experience with JIRA, Zendesk, ALM and automated software testing tools SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Candidates under final consideration for an initial appointment within the Exchange are subject to a background check.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
