Job Description: Experience in software development & automation at various levels like Unit (white-box) /Component/functional- Responsible for the overall automation strategy, tools and technologies selection for the product test automation - includes unit/component/feature test automation.-Define and communicate the test automation vision, high-level roadmap, overall test architecture and engineering considerations to the entire (dev/QA/Automation) team-Share automation best practices & set high standards for the entire team to build consistent maintainable automation & automation subsystems-Play role of technical product owner (TPO) with the QA/Automation group to set right priorities and assess progress on test deliverables-Technical voice of the QA & automation group with internal and external stakeholders-Works directly with product architects and engineering team to build testability into the productsGuiding Proof-of-concept (POC) projects and development of major test components in the systemEducational qualification & experience:BE/MS/M. Tech in Computer Science or ITExperience in working on latest automation tools for unit/component/functional tests & test infrastructures like UFT, VMWare, Hyper-V, Cloud etc.Programming skills: C/C++, Java, and scripting skills in Perl, PythonExperience in developing automation framework preferably for an enterprise product is a plus.
