The Test Automation Architect should be self-driven and have the ability to work across various technology teams providing hands-on coaching and consulting to enable the successful development and implementation of lasting automated tests. The ideal candidate should have experience applying their knowledge of programming, testing tools and frameworks in order to improve the quality and efficiency of an Agile-practicing team. Responsibilities: Create an architecture blueprint for automated testing based on the technical landscape and the organizations desire to broadly practice DevOps Demonstrate and coach the development of continuous delivery automation testing solutions Create and measure the maturity of automated testing Assist in recommending and developing test tools for the QA team Review products and technologies for inclusion into the QA practice Follow engineering best practices and provide technical mentorship to test engineering team members Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Qualifications: CI / CD: Experience applying DevOps and Continuous Integration concepts including automated test orchestration with tools like Jenkins and TFS Experience working in an Agile environment including hands-on experience with ATDD / TDD methodologies Test Automation Tools / Techniques / Frameworks: Strong knowledge of automated testing tools such as (HP UFT / QTP, HP LeanFT, SoapUI, Selenium), Automation Frameworks such as (FitNesse, Cucumber, Geb, Spock, TestNG, JUnit, NUnit), and Version Control Systems (such as GIT, SVN) Experience explicitly testing web / front-end, middle-tier web services and back-end database components Experience with cloud-based application testing Experience in developing integration and end-to-end tests for complex solutions for large-scale enterprise systems Lead The Change: Proven ability to build lasting relationships across leaders and stakeholders to drive the adoption of automated testing Ability to directly partner, demonstrate and coach test engineering teams and automated testing tools, frameworks and best practices Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions amongst a variety of technologists Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and rapidly develop the appropriate test solution Knowledge of good coding practices and improving code quality.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
