Contribute to the ongoing effort to build and curate an enterprise-level design library that has UI toolkits, reference code and working samples Be a design library advocate to the various product teams they engage Emotional intelligence coupled with strong collaborative and communication skills is a must Be able to work well within 1-2 pizza team environments Apex can add value in the vetting process by: sorting resumes, vetting for cultural and skill set fit and reviewing portfolios Requirements: Mastery of HTML/CSS Experience working in product and/or agile environments Works directly with engineering and portfolio design leads to execute work Analyze and translate business requirements and user needs into production ready UI Strategic application of experience Superior analytical and development skills to reconcile conflicting objectives and find/design acceptable compromises within existing constraints HTML, CSS, VS Code (or equivalent), git (or equivalent), JavaScript (working knowledge) Collaborate with front end engineers and product designers to implement production ready HTML/CSS Work within visual design language, pattern library & usage guidelines Actively participate in code reviews, stakeholder reviews & company-wide demos Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver features Meet regularly with engineering and portfolio design lead & other stakeholders to discuss project status, goals, roadblocks and areas for improvement Establish and advocate for development best practices Nice to have: Expert level understanding of graphic design fundamentals (typography, color theory, layout, etc.) Advanced understanding of JavaScript   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
