Job Description: Connected Safety Lead Business Analyst: Job Description Overview Seeking a Business Systems Analyst for an internal business division supporting various digital products and projects. This position would be part of a software development team working on customer facing mobile and cloud based software applications that work in combination with digitally enabled wearable and non-wearable equipment for managing a variety of safety tasks and activities that are part of safety program management. These applications are used by external and internal customers. Responsibilities The following is a list of BA tasks Requirements gathering and documentation: High level scope documentation and functionality review with product owner and other stakeholders. Creation of User Stories (features, PBIs, tasks) Collaborating with UI-UX lead and SMEs to create work flows for both the Web and Mobile site functionality Creation of Level 1 requirements. Lead and coordinate meetings with development team to review artifacts Work with scrum master and product owner on sprint planning As lead BA, work with other BAs (Business Analyst), Developers and QA (Quality Assurance) to verify work. Hold review meeting with Stakeholders for review/approval Hand off artifacts to possible existing BAs to assist during execution phase Present status at daily scrum meetings Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering 3-5 years experience working as a BA in developing customer facing web and mobile applications especially using tools such as Microsoft TFS/Visual Studio online etc and Azure DevOps tools. Interaction with product owners, marketing teams, software architects, and QA resources and responsible for translating business requirements into technical user stories. Development in Angular, C#, often in Azure cloud settings/environments Experience in customer facing applications is a MUST (Some understanding of designing for usability) Design teams will be doing user flows, wireframes, etc. BA will have some interaction Demonstrated excellence in capturing business requirements, user needs, and system requirements (functional and non-functional system requirements) Some development background / experience is preferred for more technical requirement gathering aspects and documentation purposes (APIs, JSON, and other relevant components of process and data flow to think through what a developer "might" need) Demonstrated excellence in iterative requirements management processes and tools Demonstrated excellence in modeling data and processes Experience in analyzing and understanding business problems Experience with iterative methodologies such as the SCRUM methodology - 75% BA / 25% Scrum setting, working with the team, conducting scrum ceremonies, coaching, advising. Exceptional consulting skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge in one or more software programming languages such as C# or Java Excellent soft skills and collaborative team player, with a positive attitude and initiative US based resource, located in Twin cities.
