The UX Researcher will have an in-depth knowledge of UX best practices, test strategies, and research methodologies with cross-functional responsibilities of IA and design. We work in a fast-paced environment, where youll have to keep up with rapidly evolving technologies, standards and research methods. The ideal candidate will be driven by the desire to be a user advocate, be passionate about creating products that are intuitive and enjoy the ability to use their strengths in multiple disciplines. Responsibilities * Collaborate with product owners to develop a deep understanding of the business problem to influence design and product owner decisions in creating user-centric designs * Create test strategies based on project KPIs and develop usability test plans, scripts and scenarios * Use research techniques (heuristic reviews, user interviews, remote unmoderated and in-person testing) to determine ease-of-use and comprehension of designs and ideas * Design, recruit / schedule and moderate usability studies and user interviews * Collect, analyze, present, and action feedback from customers generated during research and user testing * Work in an agile environment and juggle multiple meetings and projects * Systematically review customer feedback and identify areas (or problems) to explore further * Regularly formulate and appropriately test hypotheses against data and customer feedback * Work closely with other researchers and data analysts to integrate qualitative research methods with quantitative research * Promote the importance of user-centered decisions and influence stakeholders - be an advocate for user experience A qualified candidate should posses * Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design Library Sciences or other related discipline * 3+ years of experience in user experience or human factors and interaction design * Strong understanding of user-centered design * Experience with research methods that lend themselves to an agile environment * Knowledge and proficiency using remote unmoderated testing tools and moderated testing devices and platforms * In-depth understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods * Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a solid grasp of trends in web and app design * Skills in modern design and prototyping tools (Axure, Sketch, Zeplin, Flinto, Adobe CC) * Strong organizational skills and the ability to label, classify and intelligently build flows and wireframes for complex computer applications are a plus * Passionate about producing high-quality and engaging UX deliverables * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Project management skills to set milestones and deliver on time * Proven ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines, product lines and roles * Desire to promote the importance of user-centered decisions and influence stakeholders - be an advocate for user experience actions * Ability to present work in a clear and compelling manner to stakeholders (be able to explain design recommendations by citing best practices, testing data or business requirements)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
