As a collaborative member of our Clients agile software development team, you will build innovative and user-friendly finance web applications – collaborating closely with UX and Product team members. The ideal candidate have demonstrated ability to code Section 508 / WCAG 2.0 compliant applications, have worked on SCRUM team(s) and have worked with cross-functional team members to deliver first-class applications. The successful candidate will work closely with our Clients web development and software design teams to update the website and internal web tools to make them more efficient. The front end developer will also be responsible for creating innovative solutions to web design issues to help make the website more visually appealing, enhance accessibility, and usability. Responsibilities Include 1. Possess strong CSS layout skills (Flexbox, CSS Grid, Bootstrap). 2. Understand modern web app development (angular, angularjs) 3. Implement responsible web design principles to ensure that our company website renders well across multiple devices 4. Monitor website performance, watch for traffic drops related to site usability problems and rectify the issues 5. Review app and feature coding and plan future website upgrades with the development team 6. Assist in the development of applications and features that will be put on the website and in internal functions as well Required Skills: 1. Proficiency with AngularJS and Angular 2. Strong knowledge of web development tools and programming languages 3. Proven experience building ADA (Section 508 / WCAG 2.0) compliant web applications. 4. Experience or familiarity working with JAWS, WAVE, NVDA, VoiceOer or TalkBack. 5. Strong CSS/HTML skills Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role): 1. Mobile application development a plus.
