An IT background really is a must for this group and a finance background would be helpful. This is the Financial Data Management Team and it is heavy on updating, maintaining, and writing scripts/code for current/new financial reporting. Here are some examples of projects they has worked on: 1. Financial Controls System Validation - Financial Interface Validation - Create script to do a Securitization Indicator level recon analysis 2. Perform validation of test data and perform root cause analysis on any outages to report out to project team 3.Credit Card Data Warehouse Reporting Remediation - Identify reporting scripts impacted by new credit card regulations - Create scripts to those identified that incorporate new data model/ solution - Validate new scripts are meeting expected results in content and accuracy 4. Conversion of US and UK SAS scripts to Sasdome. Additional Notes: Provide data analysis and standard reporting support, which includes the ability to extract data from various source systems and data stores by performing light business coding (SQL, VBA, Unix, etc.) and system parameter setting, perform ad-hoc queries and develop/automate financial/statistical models using a variety of software applications (Excel, Access, etc.). Perform impact analysis on proposed changes evaluating potential impacts on data, applications, and reporting and effectively communicating potential risks/effects to supported business customer base. Ability to interface with management, users, and information technology professionals to solve complex business problems. Focuses on process automation and re-engineering.
