DESCRIPTION :

Role:
Cyber Systems Engineering Support Systems engineer to focus on requirement development and system design of complex engineering systems within the JPMC Cyber Operations environment. Specific tasks may include, but are not limited to:
System Requirement Development
System Requirement Analysis
System Design Support
System Development and Testing Support

Desired Qualifications:
Systems Engineering Skills
o Knowledge of Requirements and use case development.
o Experience with system integration and Test
o Experience with Agile planning and Scrum Teams.
o Experience with Unix and Linux environments and systems
o Databases experience to include: Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL
o Experience with Hadoop framework
o Experience with Mongo DB
Cyber Skills
o Experience with IOC feeds and platforms: Threatstream, Soltera Edge
o Understanding of the life cycle of network threats, attacks, attack vectors and methods of exploitation
o Understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, and common security elements
o CND experience (Protect, Detect, Respond and Sustain) within a Security Operations Center
o Experience with any of the following: Anti-Virus, HIPS, ID/PS, Full Packet Capture, Host-Based Forensics, Network Forensics
Consulting skills
o Ability to interface with clients, utilizing consulting and negotiating skills
o Ability to undertake and complete tasks independently, meet schedules and delivery timelines, and to move swiftly from concepts and theory to action
Team-oriented skills
o Ability to collaborate with project team members, take direction from the project lead and execute tasks consistently
Communication
o Requires written communication skills for use in preparing formal documentation, Statements of Work, proposals, white papers, and case studies
o Verbal requirements that include the ability to clearly articulate thoughts and deliver presentation and training to all levels of management
o Ability to persuade
Demeanor
o Enthusiasm and commitment with professional interpersonal skill and an entrepreneurial drive

Education and Experience:
BS in CS, Engineering or equivalent. MS preferred
1-5 years SDLC experience
C/C++, Java, multiple OS and RDBMS
Consulting experience
CISSP or other security certifications
