Project Delivery and Integration • Participate in projects related to changes/enhancements to production environments. Prepare Change request for performance improvement projects. • Write Functional Specification, Design Specification when necessary. New Project evaluation • Participate in application and system walk-through of technical and operational features, functions and attributes, of a new/existing system. • Evaluate project requirements; ensure the design will not cause negative impact to the production environment. • Write evaluation report to assist business decisions. Implementation Planning and Support • Prepare implementation plan according to corporate guidelines. • Prepare post implementation review according to corporate guidelines. • Create production monitoring plans. • Provide onsite implementation support. Capacity and performance • Research system performance for efficiencies, recommend and install changes. • Review hardware and software configurations at least twice a year to make sure there is no performance issue. • Make proposal to add/move hardware and/or software components for performance improvements. • Evaluate any new hardware and/or software for production improvements Ongoing Production Support • Act as 3rd level support • Create and document standard operating procedures. • Create and execute obey files. • Create and execute TACL macros. • Create and execute ENFORM reports • Perform configuration management tasks. • Provide oncall support when necessary Problem management • Open tickets for issues affecting production. • Attend problem review meetings. • Provide leadership and team support. • Attend Root Cause Analysis meetings. • Research and manage complex customer related issues. Security, Compliance, and Audit Support • Review production procedures to ensure compliance to regulations and guidelines. REQUIREMENTS: • 10+ years experience in the EFT industry and solid understanding of payments transaction business, operational environment and technical infrastructure. • 15+ years of Tandem experience that includes TACL, Spoolcom, Netbatch, Netbatch Plus, Utility programs, server configurations and pathway environments. • Proficiency in using MS Office. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong Analytical problem solving skills. • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced changing environment. • Able to work independently, within a team, as a subject matter expert, and mentoring others. • Able to create and document process and procedures. • Bachelor degree in data processing or equivalent (work experience may be substituted for degree).   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
