Responsibilities: Ability to articulate and be precise in written and verbal communications. Ability to travel to sites to perform work depending on incidents and changes. Some customer sites are 24 x 7. Able to coordinate network project tasks and maintenance windows with user community, peer network staff, and Change Management team. Ability to work with vendors and be professionally assertive when required. Able to relate information to technical and non-technical users, peers and senior leaders. Able to process ITAM (IT Asset Manager) and MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) items, and coordinate maintenance windows with user community and Change Management team. Able to work in a Help Desk System on a list of delegated requests and incidents that must be completed within a fixed SLA. Ability to multitask and prioritize projects and tasking. Review performance metrics for circuits and equipment and proactively open and resolve issues when need arises. Participate in Secondary On-Call Rotation Provide documentation as required including Asset Management, Smart-Net, RMA processing, IP management, Visio network topology, and others as required. Qualifications Required: 3+ years hands-on experience in networking, preferably in some or all of the following: Cisco configuration, LAN Configuration (HSRP, RSTP, Port-channel, VLAN, trunks, ports), basic network security, MDF/IDF closet build-out and physical installation 3+ years hands-on experience in networking, preferably in some or all of the following: Cisco Nexus platform (7k, 5k, 2k) configuration in a Data Center environment. 3+ years hands-on experience in networking, preferably in some or all of the following: Cisco 2800 / 3700 / 3800 / 7200 configuration, WAN (T1, MLFR, MLPPP, DS3, ATM, MPLS, Metro Ethernet) configuration 3+ years hands-on experience of configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and APs 3+ years hands-on experience in each of the following: Routing (EIGRP, BGP) 3+ Years experience with physical handling of IT equipment such as network switches and routers, UPS, structured cabling, IDF and MDF infrastructure. Dependable transportation. Excellent verbal and written communications skills Willing to work/communicate with offshore team members Able to work independently with little or no supervision.
