Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Troubleshoots network and systems performance issues and creates and maintains 100% operational SLA to our internal and external customers. Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. Provides technical support and guidance to users. Manages Client Server technology projects that impact company operational efficiency. Organizes own work and manages projects. Works under supervision of Director of IT Operations. Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time. Key Accountabilities Identifies potential problem areas and develops solutions. Serves function as technical resource for departmental and companywide IT solutions. Coordinates and/or performs additions and changes to network systems and application stacks. (e.g., VMware, Windows Servers, Linux Servers, LAMP and Network Hardware). Analysis of systems to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications to include investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation, and testing of new hardware and software. Provides direct support in the day-to-day operations on network hardware and operating systems; duties include evaluation of system utilization, monitoring response time and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems. Documentation, testing, creation or modification of computer programs related to operating systems as needed. Troubleshoots at the physical level of the network, working with network measurement hardware and software, as well as physical checking and testing of hardware devices; at the logical level working with communication protocols. Participates in planning design, technical review and implementation for new infrastructure hardware and operating systems for critical applications and datacenter servers. Managing the website and keeping internal networks running including but not limited to: Load balancers, DNS, Domain Names, Certificates, EMC Sans, Dell Compellent, VDI, ESX, VMware Operating stack, Windows Active Directory, Windows Servers, Linux, and web servers. On-call at all times including vacations and holidays. Responds to alerts in a timely manner. Including but not limited to servers, firewalls, monitoring equipment, operating systems, Reporting Services, Integration Services and Analysis Services is a plus Assist in bringing Jr Infrastructure Team members up to speed on new technologies and current infrastructure. Qualifications: (Must Have) Working knowledge of basic networking protocol, including wireless security Expertise with Windows desktop support Expertise with Windows Server operating systems (2008 – 2019) Windows Active Directory SCCM and configuration Manager Expertise with VMware, VCenter, Operations Manager and VDI Experience with VMware View Experience with SAN, Network, Server Hardware IIS and LAMP stack Expertise Experience with Networking and OSI model .com 24/7 365 availability Working knowledge of PCI and SOX compliance and best practices   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
