Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team as a VMWare Storage engineer and Commvault Backup administrator with a proven track record supporting Enterprise storage and backup solutions and VM ware ISCSI storage networks. The primary job duties are to design, implement, and maintain the organizations storage and backup infrastructure. Service Ownership Responsibilities: • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on the technical aspects of the storage and backup environment by peers, management, or Divisional partners for information or status. • Validate and remediate backup or storage systems, that may become unavailable in the event of a critical service disruption. • Assist with troubleshooting the application or service upon request or when activated through the DOJ DR or critical incident response plans. • Monitor and respond to all alerts in the backup and storage environment. •Preform upgrades, releases, and compliance with DOJ quality standards, including security, high availability, and performance. • Maintain, monitor, and preform operational duties on the WI DOJ Nimble and Dell storage arrays. • Respond to the on-call phone for incidents • Respond to the on-call staff   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
