Currently, the team is very reactive to incident response, and they want to get away from this. Currently they are seeing requests come through multiple times for the same incident, and they want to establish the root of the error, to resolve the issue after one try. Want to identify how to fix things permanently or create the tooling to help the first responders. Their group is turning into more of a true devops space, and want to spend more time with tooling, monitoring, etc. Tools: Linux environment, sys admin type background. Puppet is the biggest devops tool used by the VIPER group. Kubernetes is a HUGE plus.
