Description: SCOPE OF WORK : The Data Architect will be responsible for the identification, evaluation, documentation of all of the agencys data sources and platforms that support Consumer Planning, Resource Allocation, Quality Management, and Fiscal and Resource Management. The Data Architect will be responsible for recommending both business and technology short-term solutions that can quickly and efficiently provide consistency, quality, and availability of data for critical business needs. The Data Architect will be responsible for analyzing data and recommending quick and efficient Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Dashboard reporting solutions. The Data Architect will be responsible for understanding and documenting the agencys data flows, configurations, and platforms that incorporate both business and technical processes. The Data Architect will be responsible for identifying, comparing, and documenting data characteristics throughout the agencys business processes. The Data Architect will be responsible for understanding DDSs current business processes, especially as they relate to the data flows. The consultant shall demonstrate 7-10 years of technical experience developing logical and physical data models. The consultant shall have a minimum 7 years of experience performing data/information audits. The consultant shall have a minimum 4 years experience in effectively applying tools and techniques in data and information gaps. The consultant shall have exceptional written and verbal communications, including the ability to work with diverse functional groups in both the business and technical areas. The consultant shall have excellent organization, time-management, facilitation and presentation skills. The consultant shall have advanced computer skills especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint. The consultant shall have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and the ability to adapt to changing business needs. The consultant shall have good judgment and excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
