Resumes are due to the manager on Wednesday the 8th The selected Consultant will work closely with the designated I.T. supervisor, project managers and other developers in an agile development environment. The work scope of the consultant will include requirements gathering, application design, application development, testing, deployment and technical support. The new applications, to name a few, will include the following: - Dealer Licensing System (public-facing and internal websites) - Proof of Insurance Filing and Cancellation (public-facing website) - Public Records Request system - Bad checks tracking, Abstract Accounting - Invoice system - Transcript Logging, Special Plates - Refund system The new applications will implement a 3-tiered architecture and comply with ODPS coding standards. The Business Analyst is responsible for the set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Additional requirements 1. Strong communication/ leadership skills. 2. Strong influence, collaboration and negotiation experience. 3. Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines. 4. Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills. 5. Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines. 6. Have strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the elicitation of system and/or user requirements. 7. Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills. 8. Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably using the English language Required Skills: * All roles and responsibilities as outlined in BA1 plus the following * Experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the last four years * Experience eliciting and defining system and user requirements thru observation, interviews and analysis * Experience working directly with end users to define requirements and provide technical advice and assistance in large scale environments * Experience translating customer needs into formal business requirements * Experience analyzing end user needs and conducting fit gap analysis * Experience as a Technical Business Analyst on 2 software development or implementation projects from initiation to completion (MUST be on resume) * Experience using project management software (Microsoft Project or Clarity etc) to develop and maintain a Work Breakdown Structure on min. 2 Projects * Experience using a business requirements tracking tool for recording and prioritization of business requirements * Experience in systems process and data mapping, requirements gathering, analysis, creation of detailed documentation * Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written skills * Experience interviewing non technical end users to determine and document current business process flows * Experience using Visio to create business process flows including standard flowcharts and swim lane diagrams * Experience creating test conditions, test cases, and test scenarios * Experience in Business Process Re-Engineering * Experience as a Business Analyst working in an Agile Methodology using agile alignm   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
